- How much does a train ride cost in Dallas?
- Hourly rentals are $450 first hour and $300 each additional hour with unlimited rides. For festivals and carnivals we also sell rides by the ticket — $8 for one rider or $15 for two riders. A $100 reservation fee reserves your Dallas date.
- Do we need a track or rails in Dallas?
- No. The train is completely trackless — it drives on your driveway, parking lot, drive loop or flat dry grass. There is nothing to install and no pit to dig.
- Do we need a permit for a train ride in a Dallas park?
- City parks and some public streets in Dallas County may require a permit from the local Parks and Recreation department. Private property, church lots and school campuses generally do not. We are fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance naming your organization.
- How many kids can ride at once in Dallas?
- The Mini Freight Train has a gas-powered engine and 5 riding cars — enough for 20+ young passengers, or up to 6 adults with about a dozen children. One adult may ride in each car, except the tender, which holds 2 adults.
